This program is designed to introduce you to the skills required for a successful career in fashion styling and the creative direction of fashion and media.
You will be able to work as a fashion stylist and work on your own creative direction project which you will present to others on the last day of the course. In order to do this, you will learn how to use cultural insights to come up with a vision for a creative concept. You will also learn core branding principles so that you can create a distinctive visual identity for your concept. A key to being a good creative director is the ability to meet the needs of a specific target audience and to communicate your ideas to others compellingly and persuasively – all aspects that you will explore as part of the course.
Who is it for?
This short course is suitable for anyone who would like to understand how to implement their creative vision from an initial idea to a final concept.
Students will finish the course with a greater understanding of how to research culture and come up with creative ideas, how to translate abstract ideas into tangible products, and how to create a narrative around a creative direction concept.
